The mission of Eureka Springs’ historic preservation program is to protect, preserve, and enhance our historic resources to support the economic, cultural, and environmental health of our community.

We promote community vitality through collaboration with community members to preserve, enhance, and promote the City’s significant heritage and save the places that are meaningful to our residents. We demonstrate our commitment to this vision through transparent, responsive processes based on best practices, while continuously striving for innovation and improvement.

Cassie is passionate about historic preservation’s role in creating sustainable and equitable communities. Cassie holds an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Arkansas. Prior to working for the City of Eureka Springs, she worked for the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office.
