The mission of Eureka Springs’ historic preservation program is to protect, preserve, and enhance our historic resources to support the economic, cultural, and environmental health of our community.

Kyle is passionate about historic preservation’s role in creating sustainable and equitable communities. Kyle holds an undergraduate degree in history from Idaho State University, and a graduate degree in history from Wichita State University, specializing in public history and historic preservation. Prior to working for the City of Eureka Springs, he worked in historic window restoration, on projects funded by the Kansas State Historic Preservation Office, and with the Wichita-Sedgwick County Planning Department under the Historic Preservation Office.
